Raise your hands if you love chocolate. Did you raise? I did too. Chocolate tartlets recipe is all about chocolatey goodness and did I mention this is real simple to create?
Chocolate tartlets can be an easy and quick party dessert or a fun recipe to bake with your kids. This will definitely make you look great in front of your guests and the best part is you do not have to slave in your kitchen for hours to make this treat.

Square puff pastry, thawed - 4 pieces
Chocolate chips - 1 cup
Egg yolk beaten - 1 (optional)
Chopped strawberries - 1/2 cup (or fruit of your choice)
For melting the chocolate chips:
Place the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and melt it for 2 minutes, stopping in between every 30 seconds to stir.
Remove the melted chocolate chips when it is silky and smooth.
For the chocolate tartlets:
Pre-heat the oven to 375 degree F.
In a baking tray, line a parchment paper and place the thawed puff pastry in the tray.
Using a glass, cut circles in middle of the two of the thawed puff pastries.
Now place the pastries with circles cut in the middle, on top of the uncut pastry sheets.
Press the corners of the now overlapped pastries.
Use the beaten egg yolk and brush the pastries with it to give a beautiful golden color.
Now bake it for 20 minutes.
Once removed from the oven, let it sit and cool down for sometime.
Once cooled, slice the baked pastry in the middle.
Now spread melted chocolate on the bottom half pastry and fill the hole in the middle with some more chocolate.
Top it with some strawberries or any fruit of your choice in the way you prefer. (I add some chopped cashews for some crunch).
Serve and Enjoy!
You can top it with some powdered sugar to elevate it even more when serving.
